Outline of Research at the Start

社会や環境から受けるストレスは抑うつ、不安亢進、認知機能低下など多様な行動変容を引き起こし、うつ病など精神疾患のリスク因子ともなる。しかし、多様な行動変容を誘導する脳内機序は不明である。本研究課題では、脳内の神経回路に着目し、ストレスによる多様な行動変容のメカニズムを解明する。得られた成果は、精神疾患の層別化技術の開発や症状特異的なバイオマーカー・新規治療標的の同定に資することが期待される。
