| Outline of Research at the Start |
がん診療において、発症率や治療経過に性差が存在することは広く知られている。しかし、これまでに性差を考慮した治療法は確立されていない。そこで医療ビッグデータを活用することで、がん化学療法における性差の実情を網羅的に解析し、性別による治療反応性や有害事象のリスクの違いについて課題を抽出する。さらに疾患モデル動物や培養細胞を用いた基礎薬理学的検討により、その分子機序を明らかにする。本研究課題から、性差を考慮した、より安全性・有効性の高い薬物治療戦略提案のための基盤となる知見を創出することを目的とする。
