コロナ禍で、現場での地域医療実習が困難になった医学生に、多職種連携の考え方、全人的医療の重要性を修得させるためのICT教材の開発を目的とした研究であり、へき地の介護老人保健施設の各専門職の協力を得て、医学生が苦手とする介護福祉領域、特に、在宅復帰計画に焦点を当てた内容とする。教材開発のために、最初の2年間で、教育者となる各専門職、学習者となる医学生に対して、題材収集のためのインタビュー調査を行い、最後の1年間で調査結果をもとにした教材開発を行う。医学生が若手医師になった時に自信をもって各専門職とコミュニケーションを取れるようにすることで、へき地の医師定着問題の解決に寄与する。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This three-year study aimed to enhance primary care education by developing ICT-based teaching materials to help medical students, particularly those with limited community healthcare training, understand multidisciplinary collaboration and holistic medicine. In the first year, interviews with professionals at a remote elderly care facility informed material collection. The second year involved interviews with fourth- to sixth-year medical students to incorporate the learner perspective. Based on these findings, the third year focused on developing model teaching materials for practical use. Throughout the study, valuable insights were obtained that contribute to the advancement of primary care education.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
医師数が絶対的に不足するへき地で、医学生が若手医師となった時に自信をもって各専門職とコミュニケーションがとれるようになるための事例ベースのICT教材を開発したことで、全人的医療の重要性を医学生に教育し、本邦のプライマリ・ケア領域に新たな展開をもたらす効果が期待される。研究成果は、多職種の専門家が集まる本邦の学会で関係者に還元すると共に、今後、へき地の医師不足で教育方法に悩む世界各国に向けての研究成果の海外発信も見込んでいる。
