Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の目的は、感染予防の看護技術教育に「飛沫・エアロゾル可視化撮影システム」を導入し、学生の技術修得状況の検証を通して、技術修得に必要な構成要素を明らかにし、教育プログラムを開発することである。研究方法は以下に示す。
1.システム介入群と介入しない群に分け、感染予防の看護技術演習を実施する。
2.研究者らによる各群の演習中の技術到達度評価と、学生への演習後のアンケート調査を質的比較分析法を用いて分析し、感染予防技術修得に必要な構成要素を明らかにする。
3.2の分析結果より、感染予防技術修得に向けた教育プログラム内容を開発する。
4.3で開発した教育プログラム内容を用いて、学習効果を検証する。

Outline of Final Research Achievements

The purpose of this study was to introduce a particle visualization system into nursing education for infection prevention, verify students' technical proficiency through the system, identify the essential components necessary for mastering infection prevention techniques, and develop an educational program. A comparative study was conducted by randomly dividing participants into a system intervention group and a control group. The results revealed that visualizing particles enabled students to develop a realistic understanding of the situation, thereby improving the gap between their understanding and their actions. Additionally, the essential components necessary for mastering infection prevention techniques were identified, and an infection prevention education program was developed that facilitates the improvement of the gap between understanding and actions.
Furthermore, we clarified the actual infection prevention behaviors of healthcare professionals.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

看護学教育において感染予防技術の確実な修得は、喫緊の課題である。しかし、学生は微生物の存在をイメージできず技術修得が難しい現状があった。
本研究課題では、感染予防の技術教育に微粒子可視化システムを用いることにより、学生は微生物をイメージでき技術修得が格段に進むことが明らかになり、これまでにない教育プログラムを開発した。本プログラムが看護のみならず他職種の基礎教育に波及することは、医療を学ぶ学生全体の感染予防技術の修得が可能となり、ひいては患者を感染から守ることができ、安全な医療提供につながる。
