涙を産生する組織である涙腺が腫れ，それに伴い眼瞼が腫れる疾患としてIgG4関連疾患と
眼窩MALTリンパ腫がある。IgG4関連疾患の中でMALTリンパ腫を合併する症例（合併例）が10-20%程存在することが知られている。合併例はIgG4関連疾患や眼窩MALTリンパ腫単独例と比べると再発しやすく，合併例に対する治療方針の確立が必要であるが未だ明確な方針はない。本研究ではIgG4関連眼疾患と眼窩MALTリンパ腫の合併例に着目しその遺伝子解析と病理学的解析から合併例の疾患特徴を探り，治療方針の確立に資する分析を行う。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study focused on cases with coexisting IgG4-related ophthalmic disease and orbital MALT lymphoma. The aim was to investigate the disease characteristics of such overlapping cases through genetic and pathological analyses, and to compare them with those of isolated IgG4-related ophthalmic disease and orbital MALT lymphoma in order to clarify their differences and contribute to the establishment of appropriate treatment strategies.As a first step, we reviewed cases of orbital MALT lymphoma and IgG4-related ophthalmic disease, and identified 50 eligible cases diagnosed since 2010.Although the purchase of surgical loupes was intended to facilitate efficient surgery on these cases, there were few eligible cases over the past three years. In addition, securing time for DNA extraction proved difficult.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
もし単独例と合併例で明確な遺伝子・病理学的特徴の違いを突き止めることができれば新たな治療の確立に役立てることができたと思う。今回の研究ではそこまで達することができなかった。
