Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、働く人々の向上心(thriving)を健全な組織づくりの鍵概念として捉え、リーダーシップや公正風土など、向上心に影響を与える要因とその帰結に関する実証研究を行う。それによって、近年における新型コロナ感染症の流行に伴う厳しい経済情勢やテレワークの推進など、多くの働く人々に負担を強いるような状況になっている状況下で、人々が安心して働くことができるような心理的に健全な組織づくりを行うことにつながる知見を生み出す。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究プロジェクトの最終年度となる2023年度は、前年度に引き続き、人々が働く職場の心理的な健全性を高め、それによって職場の生産性を高めることに資するリーダーシップのあり方について複数の研究を推進した。その中には、イスラム世界での職業倫理が従業員行動に与える影響や、健全な建設現場に資するリーダーシップのあり方、職場におけるインターナル・コミュニケーションに関する研究などが含まれた。研究成果の途中段階にものは、2023年8月にボストンで行われたAcademy of Management年次大会で報告を行った。2023年の10月に外国人特別研究員が日本の大学に就職したためにその時点で本研究課題が終了したが、最終的には、2023年度には、International Journal of Monpowerなど4本の国際ジャーナルに研究成果に関連する論文が掲載され、本研究機関全体を通してでは、International Journal of Human Resource Managementをはじめとする国際ジャーナルに10本掲載された。まだ研究成果の完成には至っていないが、職場におけるパラドキシカル・リーダー行動に関する研究についても、新たな実証研究の設計を行い、次年度以降引き続いて行う今後の研究につながる成果をあげた。
