Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の目的は、マレーシアの「三大民族：マレー人・華人・インド人」の混血のマイノリティグループである「プラナカン・インディアン」の親族関係・食文化・宗教実践に着目し、民族・宗教の差異を有する彼らがいかに「マレー人」優遇政策の影響を受けながら集住・共存してきたのかを明らかにすることである。
調査手法は、現地でのプラナカン・インディアンらに対するインタビューや参与観察、文献調査等である。
