| Outline of Research at the Start |
移民・外国人労働者がホスト国に及ぼす影響に関する先行研究は多いが、外国人労働拡大政策がどのような経路で経済成長、財政、雇用、賃金、技術に波及するのかについては未だ解明されていない。本研究は、一時的移民の滞在期間、地理的集積などの経済的選択行動を考慮して、ホスト国における移民・外国人労働拡大のマクロ経済・社会厚生水準への影響の計測を目的としている。

| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
研究期間全体を通じて、3本の論文の執筆と、それらの発表を行った。1本目の論文"Temporary Migration Choice, Remittance and Human Capital"では、一時的な移民）のホスト国での滞在期間、送金の選択問題を人的資本レベルに応じて理論・実証分析を行った。これは国際学会：Western Economic Association International (2021), Asian and Australasian Society of Labour Economics(2022)にて発表済みである。主たる先行研究の著者であるChristian Dustmann氏のコメントを元に加筆中。2本目の論文"Are foreign aid and international remittances effective in reducing poverty?"は、移民（外国人労働者）のソース国の福祉レベルを検証するため、政府開発援助と国際送金がソース国の貧困削減に効果があるのかを実証分析したもの。日本経済学会(2023）にて発表済みで、校正後、Journal of International Developmentへ投稿予定。3本目の論文"Ageing and economic growth: another structural cause of Japan's Lost Decades"は、人口高齢化が経済成長にどのような影響を与えるのかを日本のケースにおいて実証分析したもの。Asian and Australasian Society of Labour Economics (2023)にて発表済み、Japanese Economic ReviewでR&Rのためrevise中であり、5月中旬にresubmitする予定である。
