Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、植物の器官構築に重要な細胞層の形成・分化にはたらく細胞層間シグナルの分子基盤を明らかにすることを目的とする。具体的には、シロイヌナズナの側根形成過程に着目し、２つの課題（AおよびB）に取り組む。課題Aでは、側根原基に隣接する内皮細胞由来の極長鎖脂肪酸シグナルが側根原基の最外細胞層の分化に果たす役割、課題Bでは側根原基の最外細胞層由来のシグナルが、側根内部の細胞層形成・分化に果たす役割の解明を目指す。
