Research Abstract |
In order to store and transmit a large number of images or video, image compression technology is needed. So we propose a new moving image compression method using a dual-fractal. And we reduce the calculation time of proposed method by using the characteristic of color images and moving picture. Now there are many unauthorized use of the images and falsifications of the images. In order to protect copyright of the images, to detect tampered region and to recover tampered region is required. Image authentication method using Hamming code for gray scale image has been proposed. We extend this method to color images. Furthermore, we embed the most significant bit at the color image. The proposed method can effectively eliminate tempered region. And the image which watermarks were embedded in keeps a good quality.
