Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this study was to explore correlation between motor skill and psychological characteristics of senior excellent Kendo player. Data of 7-dan senior Kendo player when he played against 8-dan (exterior), 7-dan (same grade), 4 and 3-dan (lower grade) were analyzed. For playing against 8-dan, the player (7-dan) could not control himself preparing for attacking in physically and psychologically. For 7-dan, the player could control himself on psychologically, it further assist him to control physically. For 4 and 3-dan, the player controlled himself perfectly. As a result, psychological control before attacking was important in Kendo.
