| Research Abstract |
The author summarized his practical study on 'VJing' and Web design from the view of construction of art. At the last step, the author continued his practical study and focused on the 'color light plays' by Ludwig Hirschfeld-Mack at the Bauhaus, as the attempt to explore the source of interactive visual media expression. In this consideration, the following three key perspectives were aimed. 1. Today's revaluation of idea and methodology at the Bauhaus. 2. Evaluation of Hirschfeld-Mack. 3. Consideration of source and creating principles of VJing, and widely interactive visual media expression. Works of color light plays were not only able to deal with 'light art' in art history, but also able to trace the descent of color music as a creative device. The Bauhaus ideas such as fusion of art and technology, unity of all the arts are actual in the audio-visual expression today. As the result of consideration, this research illustrates the actuality of the project by the Bauhaus.
