Research Abstract |
I have proposed a new detector configuration that is able to increase the user throughput in downlinks of wireless communication systems where the number of receive antennas is much less than that of transmit antennas. The proposed detector applies an idea of virtual channels that makes it possible to introduce linear signal processing detectors in the non-linear signal processing detector. Hence, the proposed detector is much less complex than the original non-linear signal processing detector, although the proposed detector achieves the theoretical upper bound in transmission performance. Moreover, I have proposed iterative receiver that consists of the proposed detector and decoder of forward error correction coding. It is confirmed that the proposed iterative receivers achieve more superior transmission performance.
