Research Abstract |
A mouse line, which has green fluorescent protein expression in K12 gene expressed cells, was established in this study. In this mouse cornea, we found corneal epithelial stem cells in basal layer of corneal epithelia. Farthermore, we examined CpG methylation pattern analysis between K12 promoter region and exon2.Compare to K12 non-expression cells, K12 expressed cells have less methylated CpG in CpG island and exon1 of the K12 gene.
