Outline of Final Research Achievements

The purpose of this study was to examine the factors related to continuous breastfeeding between mothers’ discharge from hospital and six months postpartum from the mothers’ perspective. An anonymous questionnaire was sent to public health centers, and mothers of one-year and six-month old baby answered it. There is also needed health professionals’ and family members’ supports to help mothers for maintaining their physical and psychosocial well-being.
