Research Abstract |
We have proposed an innovative way for writing multi-bit informations in a nano-sized magnetic dot and developed its elemental techniques. First, we have demonstrated that a multi vortex states can be stabilized in a nano-sized magnetic triangle. Secondly, we have developed a method for generating giant pure spin current by using multi-terminal spin injection. Finally, we have demonstrated a partial magnetization switching of the magnetic dot by pure spin current injection. By combining these techniques, a novel multi-bit information writing will be developed.
