Research Abstract |
We have conducted multiply-repeated measurements of radiocarbon content in annually separated tree rings using the Accelerator Mass Spectrometer at Yamagata University, in order to improve the precision of radiocarbon measurement and to determine the absolute ages of annual-scale GCR events during the Maunder Minimum. We have successfully achieved four times higher precision.
