Research Abstract |
The purpose of this project is to develop a functional material with ion motion in the solid state by using revolver-shaped molecules which are composed of a crown-ether and a metal ion. Herein, we report crystal structures and physical properties of two salts including revolver-shaped molecules. From the crystal structures, crown-ethers are one-dimensionally stacked giving an ion channel structure and the ion conductivities are estimated from an AC impedance measurement.
