Research Abstract |
Bacteria-driven micromotors have been developed. In the simulation of the bacteria-driven micromotors, the dependence of rotational frequency of the micromotor on the number of both blades and bacteria was evaluated. In experiments, several types of micromotors with different number of blades were fabricated. It was demonstrated that the micromotors have been rotated by the random collision of bacteria.
