Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Purpose of this research is to analyze how the Japanese energy-saving and pollution control technology has developed from a socio-economic historical perspective. So, this research has demonstrated (1) a history of the Japanese industrial technology on energy-saving and pollution control, and (2) a history of the Japanese local authorities and residential movements on environmental pollution. Regarding the topic (1), this research has revealed (i) activities of Resources Council in Japan and (ii) technology transfer from the heat management to the pollution control. Regarding the topic (2), this research has revealed the pollution control policy and the residential movements on environmental pollution in Yokohama and Kitakyushu.
