Research Abstract |
We have studied on catalytic cross-dehydrogenative coupling (CDC) reaction using redox property of halide ions. In the course of this study, we have developed (i) intramolecular carbon-oxygen-bond-forming reaction using iodide ion/oxygen gas, (ii) intramolecular carbon-carbon-bond-forming reaction using iodide ion/TBHP, and (iii) alcohol oxidation using bromide ion/hydrogen peroxide.
