Research Abstract |
This research assumed the metropolitan big earthquake. The problem of transportation by the bus was understood as substitution of the railway and the effect was verified. Firstly, it is difficult to substitute the railway with the bus completely because the railway is mass transportation, and the transportation capacity of the bus is extremely small generally compared with the railway. However, transportation by bus is high capacity becomes possible by devising the operation method. And, the railway is effective because the railway system exists high closely in the metropolitan area and if the detour with other railways can be used even if struck, the alternative transportation means by the bus is also effective.
