Research Abstract |
A newly constructed optical measurement system was introduced to investigate the wood density by time-of-flight near-infrared spectroscopy (TOF-NIRS). Optical parameters representing the variation of time-resolved profile with various wood samples were introduced. The wood density clearly influenced the transmitted time-resolved profile.
