Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、物流の未来のインフラであるフィジカルインターネット（PI）の導入に向け、ハブ機能を有する物流拠点の設計を目的としている。PIは、物流プロセスの要素を相互接続したオープンでグローバルな物流ネットワークであり、物流の効率化や温室効果ガス削減に対する最も有効な対策として注目されている。この課題に対処するために、本研究ではPIの導入をシミュレーションし、ハブ機能を有する物流拠点の設計を行う。研究成果は、日本のPIの実現化目標に貢献するだけでなく、物流事業者に対しても科学的根拠を提供することができる。
