Outline of Research at the Start	欧米ではバレット食道からの食道腺癌患者が増加していることに加え、本邦の逆流性食道炎罹患者は1,000万人以上であることから逆流性食道炎からのバレット食道進展予防は重要な課題である。逆流性食道炎からのバレット食道進展には肥満や好ましくない生活習慣の関与などが考えられているが、これらの因子だけでは説明できない症例も存在する。最近では体内細菌や肥満の質に着目した研究が行われるようになってきたが、口腔内細菌や肥満の質がバレット食道進展に及ぼす影響ついては明らかとなっていない。そこで本研究では口腔内細菌と質的内臓脂肪の観点から逆流性食道炎からのバレット食道進展メカニズムを明らかにする。
