Outline of Research at the Start

本研究はスマート化IoT環境において物理層の情報の利用を特化し,無線チャネルの予測不可能でランダム性を活用して,計算量が少なく,鍵関連の情報を事前保存が不要という利点を最大限に利用してIoT機器のセキュリティの基盤技術である鍵生成・共有とそのデータの信頼性を確保のフレームワークを構築することである.また,既存研究で検討されていない中継攻撃,注入攻撃,中間者攻撃を取り入れて安全性を強化する.さらにIoT機器の展開におけるセキュリティを向上するため,攻撃や異常の検出のため連合学習のような機械学習フレームワークの構築を試み,サイバーフィジカルセキュリティ向けの機械学習の従来手法より効率向上を行う.

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究では、スマート化が進行するIoT環境に対し、物理層特性を活用した暗号鍵管理およびデータ信頼性の確保を中核に据え、セキュリティとプライバシ保護の両立を図る実践的アプローチを展開した。具体的には、無線通信チャネルの雑音・フェージング・時変性といったランダム性を鍵生成に活用することで、事前共有鍵や集中管理に依存せずに動的かつ軽量な鍵再生成を実現可能とする設計原理を提案した。
さらに、Federated Learning(FL)における通信コスト・精度・プライバシのトレードオフを解消するため、階層的集約構造や水印技術、差分プライバシ制御戦略、モデル劣化の抑制手法などを開発し、実環境での適用性を検証した。IoT応用分野として、工場、医療、UAV、スマートホーム等におけるアクセス制御および認証プロトコルの設計を進め、ブロックチェーンや検索可能暗号、Explainable AIと統合した応用事例も提示した。
令和6年度は、IEEE IoT Journal、TIFS、TETCなどトップジャーナルを含む20件以上の成果を国際発表し、理論・設計・実装・評価の全フェーズにわたって大きな進捗を達成した。

Reason

本研究課題は、IoT環境における物理層特性を利用した鍵管理方式と、信頼性の高いデータ流通の確立を目的としており、当初の計画に沿って着実に進行している。令和6年度は、複数の実証シナリオ(産業用IoT、ウェアラブル、UAVなど)を対象としたセキュリティプロトコルの設計と評価を行い、20件以上の国際論文・国際会議論文として成果を発表した。物理層鍵生成に関しては、変動チャネル下での適応的鍵再生成手法を提案し、実装とともに性能検証も実施済みである。また、フェデレーテッドラーニングに関しては、通信効率とプライバシ保護の両立を目指した階層型集約手法の最適化や、差分プライバシの制御戦略、説明可能性の向上も図っており、当初の計画以上に発展的な展開が見られている。今後は、物理層セキュリティとAIベースの動的防御メカニズムをさらに統合し、現実のスマート環境への適用性検証を進める予定である。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

今後は、これまでに得られた物理層鍵生成・再生成技術を基盤として、動的なチャネル変化への高適応性を持つ軽量プロトコル群の実装に注力する。特に、UAV・スマート工場・医療機器等の応用現場を想定し、実環境下での通信遅延・パケット損失などの課題を考慮した耐故障性評価を実施する予定である。また、フェデレーテッドラーニング環境におけるモデルWartermark技術や、説明可能AI(XAI)を活用した異常検知の高度化も進め、セキュリティ運用における信頼性と透明性を両立させる。さらに、物理層セキュリティとAIベースの意思決定支援技術を融合させることで、サイバー攻撃に対するリアルタイムな対応能力を備えた統合的セキュリティ基盤の構築を目指す。国際共同研究の枠組みを活用し、多様なIoTシナリオでの汎用性と展開性を検証しながら、標準化への貢献も視野に入れて研究を推進していく。
