Outline of Research at the Start

アニサキスは、クジラを終宿主とし、鮭・秋刀魚・鱈などの魚を中間宿主とする寄生虫である。昨今、魚の生食に起因するアニサキス感染が話題となっているが、アニサキスを駆虫する治療薬等は開発されていない。本研究は、この状況を打破すべく、研究代表者らが得手とするドラッグデリバリーシステム (DDS) の斬新な学理を基に着想された、JSPS挑戦的研究(萌芽)(19K22778)で芽生えた潜在性を更に引き出す研究であり、アニサキス駆虫研究にブレイクスルーをもたらす可能性を秘めた開拓期の研究である。
