Outline of Research at the Start	脳神経活動や、それに関連する神経回路がどの様に運動機能を亢進させるか明らかにする為に、脳神経や神経回路を人為的に活動操作する動物を薬理遺伝学や化学遺伝学を用いて作出する。次いで、脳神経回路を賦活化・あるいは抑制した時の、脊髄運動ニューロン活動を単一神経あるいはシナプスレベルで捉える研究法の開発を行う。本法は再生医療による神経機能回復の機能評価や機構解明にも有用となることが期待される。
