「近世後期写本文化の横断的研究－未整理古典籍・台湾大学・絵巻模写の学術的調査－」
「人はなぜ書物を写すのか」。本研究は、近世期に作成された写本群の学術的な調査を行いながら、多面的・横断的な切り口で近世期の写本文化を解明していくものである。そこには近世期の出版では現れてこない人間の知への根源的な欲求を探る狙いがある。
本研究では膨大な写本群を、近世後期の「写本文化」という軸で貫き、研究対象を明確にした。そして、以下に示すように大きく３本の柱を立て、研究分担者とともに目的を達成する。これらの解明によって、近年、研究者の注目を集めている写本文化に新しい切り口を提供することができると考えている。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This research is based entirely on on-site surveys, but the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has continued since last year, has forced us to change our research plan. Therefore, until on-site surveys by multiple people can be resumed in earnest, the representative conducted surveys at Aso Shrine alone. First, the research contributors continued their own research, and the representative used the newly purchased material, "Nishihama Goten Goyodome," in 2021 to give an oral presentation at the Yamaguchi Conference of Nishinihon kokugo kokubun gakkai, and to present a paper in "Gazoku." From 2022, we resumed full-scale surveys at Aso Shrine, conducting 8 surveys over a five-year period. With this survey, the survey of unsorted classical books at Aso Shrine is almost complete, and a catalog (a simple catalog on the web) has also been created.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究成果の学術的意義として①九州地域の未整理写本類の実地調査、②国学者旧蔵写本の調査、③国学者が関わった絵巻模写の調査の3点が挙げられる。写本の諸相を照射するためにあえて異なるテーマを設定し、近年脚光を浴び始めた写本文化の研究に新しい視点を提供することができたと考える。
またこれらのテーマはそれぞれａ地域貢献・次代を担う人材の育成・災害復興、ｂ国際学術調査、ｃ学際的融合性の側面も有している。本研究成果によってコロナ禍という学術調査にとって難しい状況下における新しい方法の模索（スキャン画像の共有、デジタル目録）が進み、新しい研究側面が創造されたと考えている。
