Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の目的は, 非線形分散型方程式や, 回転や密度成層を考慮した流体方程式など, 分散性を伴う非線形偏微分方程式の解の時間大域的な挙動を調べることである. これらの方程式では, 線形項から来る分散性と非線形項から来る特異性とのバランスにより, 解はさまざまな様相を呈し, 一般の初期値に対し解の長時間挙動を捉えることは難しい. 本研究では物理学的に重要なモデルを含む, 質量劣臨界とよばれる場合に, 調和解析や変分法的手法に加え, 流体方程式や反応拡散方程式のアプローチを援用することで解の挙動を解明する.

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究の目的は, 物理学, 工学に現れる非線形分散型方程式に対し, ソリトンおよび散乱という観点から解の長時間挙動を解明することである. 研究代表者(瀬片)は研究分担者(眞崎)および瓜屋航太氏(岡山理科大)とともに, 昨年度までに引き続き, 空間1次元において3次の非線形項をもつ非線形シュレディンガー連立系(システム)の解の長時間挙動について考察した. 線形シュレディンガー方程式の散乱理論の観点から, 空間1次元において3次の非線形項はちょうど長距離型と短距離型の境目に相当し, 解の長時間挙動を調べることは容易でない. これまでの研究では, limit ODEとよばれる, 方程式に付随するある常微分方程式の多項式型の保存則を用いることで解の長時間挙動を捉えることができたが, 本年度はlimit ODEに対し非多項式型の保存則を見つけることで, 新たなタイプの非線形シュレディンガー連立系に対し解の長時間挙動を捉えることができた. また, 研究代表者(瀬片)と研究分担者(眞崎)は一般化Korteweg-de Vries方程式の散乱問題について研究を行った. まず, 初期値が小さい場合について考察し, Fourier-Lebesgue空間とよばれる空間での解の時空間評価を用いることで, 初期値がある重みつきSobolev空間に入っているならば, 解は同クラスで散乱し, 漸近状態も同じクラスに入ることを証明した. さらに, 重みつきSobolev空間において解が散乱するための必要十分条件を得た. 研究分担者(高田)は3次元層状領域において, 非粘性回転成層 Boussinesq 方程式の初期値問題について研究し, 回転速度および浮力周波数を無限大とする極限において,同方程式の解が準地衡流方程式の解に収束することを証明した.

Reason

今年度は, 空間1次元において3次の非線形項をもつ非線形シュレディンガー連立系(システム)や一般化Korteweg-de Vries方程式の散乱問題, 非粘性回転成層 Boussinesq 方程式の解の収束などに関して成果をあげることができ, 本研究課題についていくつか進展があった. 一方, クラインゴルドン方程式の連立系の一種であるMaxwell-Higgs方程式など, 物理学に現れる, より複雑な方程式系の解の長時間挙動の研究については, 当初より時間がかかっている.

Strategy for Future Research Activity

クラインゴルドン方程式の連立系の一種であるMaxwell-Higgs方程式など, 物理学に現れる, より複雑な方程式系の解の長時間挙動について引き続き研究を進める. 特に, 時空レゾナンス法とよばれる方法を用いて時空間で解の各成分の相互作用を調べることで本問題に取り組む.
