| Outline of Research at the Start |
本研究の目的は、調査モードおよび配偶者票の有無をランダムに割り当てることにより、調査手法の効果のみを抽出することである。具体的には、調査手法の違いが、回収率、回答者の代表性、回答傾向にどのような影響を及ぼすのかを明らかにする。そうすることにより、ICTの活用を代表とする今後の社会調査の可能性を検証し、新たな調査手法導入の是非、導入にあたっての課題、状況に適した調査手法の有無を解明する。

| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
混合調査法および配偶者票の導入において社会調査のデジタル化が進展している欧州の調査拠点に聞き取り調査を行った。訪問先は、エセックス大学Institute for Social and Economic Research、ユバスキュラ大学CopaGloba、タンペレ大学DISCO、ドイツFederal Institute for Population Researchである。それぞれの拠点において、オンライン調査の実施方法、郵送法の状況、混合調査法を実施する際の手順、回収率向上の取り組み、個人情報の取り扱い、調査会社との役割分担、ダイアドデータの分析手法などについて意見交換を行った。2024年度に予定しているランダム化比較試験について、調査デザイン案を報告し、その有用性、実現性、課題などについてのフィードバックを得ることができた。
研究分担者および研究協力者との研究会は２回実施した。予算削減のためいずれもオンラインでの開催となった。第１回研究会の目的は研究計画のプランニング、第２回研究会の目的はヒアリング調査の報告および調査デザインの策定についてである。

研究初年度にあたる2023年度は研究代表者の所属変更があったものの、おおむね計画通りに研究を進めることができた。

2023年度に実施した研究会およびヒアリング調査の結果、大まかな調査デザインを設定することができた。今後は、具体的な調査項目の絞り込み、調査会社の選定、研究倫理審査の申請を行い年度末の実査に備える。
