Outline of Research at the Start

日本では理系、いわゆるSTEM分野の女性の割合が極めて低い。
本研究では、ジェンダー平等度の高い国と比較して、日本のSTEMジェンダー環境がどのように女性の理系進学を抑制している可能性があるのかを明らかにする。
特にフィンランド等との国際比較に加えて、日本国内の都道府県別の研究を進めることで、日本の女性がSTEMに進学しにくい構造と社会風土の影響を明らかにする。
