Outline of Research at the Start

カビ汚染された飼料を介してかび毒を摂取することによる家畜の肝障害、食欲不振、嘔吐などの中毒症、さらに家畜を経由して畜産食品をかび毒で汚染する危険性がある。抗カビ剤や農薬による飼料の殺菌処理は、カビの耐性化や家畜の健康への悪影響が懸念されるため、かび毒汚染させないための解決手段が必要である。本研究では、食糧と直接競合しないバイオマス中に含まれるリグニンの活用と光の組み合わせで、カビの生育抑制およびかび毒産生抑制効果を最大に引き出す次世代型カビ制御技術を開発する。
