Outline of Research at the Start

細胞内小器官の間の物質輸送において、メゾスケール構造体の輸送異常が沖縄型神経原性筋萎縮症や癌などの疾患に関わることから、これら治療・予防における作用点として注目されるが、その作用機序の理解の欠如が研究を遅延させている。本課題では、リボソームから小胞体内メゾスケール構造体研究、小胞体から輸送小胞内のメゾスケール構造体研究について、セクレトーム解析技術、トモグラフィー法による細胞内構造解析技術、小胞体内メゾスケール構造体の検出技術を有機的に連携させ、メゾスケール構造体プロファイリングを開拓し、新技術基盤を整備する。
