Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We developed a new registration method that improves the surgical navigation by making it easier and safer. Previous navigation systems had either less accurate or more invasive registration methods. Our newly developed registration enabled totally no-contact method using a industry-standard, high resolution 3D camera, which is noninvasive but at the same time has a high accuracy.
