Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In home economics class at elementary, junior and senior high school, it is said to be difficult understanding the suitable amount of food for us to eat. So, “The dish volume method” was developed, by which it become enable to figure out the weight of raw food by eyeballing food volume of dishes. Next, teaching materials of life-size dish pictures were developed, in which main dishes and side dishes are classified into two types, vegetable rich or poor, and the vegetable rich dish with poor one are paired to make a well-balanced menu, without learning the amount of food at elementary school. Third, a website teaching material making a well-balanced menu for a day of junior high school student was developed.
