Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The titanium has been used widely medical area as bioinert material. The titanium implant is used as dental treatment. Reported bone-implant contact percentages are far below the perfect. In dental implant to stabilize the improvement and long-term success rate, it is necessary that the bone is more formed. This study examined the possible changes in the bioactivity of titanium surfaces during their aging and investigated the effect of Ultraviolet light treatment or solution coating method during the age-related change of titanium bioactivity. Establish a light irradiation treatment method and surface treatment method according to the solution which applies the optical technology in order to recover this phenomenon was found to be effective.
