Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Recently, in Japan, functional fragrances are of particular interest as a treatment for Alzheimer’s disease. But, despite getting a great deal of coverage, we don’t know where fragrances work in our brain and what make difference of efficacy between patients. So we work positively to visualize the movement of the human brain activity in smelling many fragrances including essential oils. Moreover, we prove individual variation between experiencers and others scientifically based on observation. By applying our result of experimentation, we hope aroma treatments for neurological patients will advance by this results.
