In Japan, there are many cases where people who have no trouble walking that use this space illegally (Nishidate, 2011). In this research, we focused on the education method for citizens with signs set up in the back of the parking space or posters set up in the supermarket. Signs and posters are for people with disabilities that say why this parking space for people with disabilities are wider. I researched whether the usage situation for the parking space for people with disabilities would change before and after the sign or posuter was set up. The research location was an area where there is no regulation for the parking permit system involving the parking space for people with disabilities. After the sings were up, illegally parked cars were decreased less than half before the signs were up. On the other hand, after the posters were up, illegally parked cars were not decreased.
