Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は，戦前期1920～30年代において，日本企業によって発行された「営業報告書」上の非財務情報（記述情報）と財務情報の一致度を「企業情報開示の整合性・透明性」と定義し，その開示行動の特性と影響要因を同定することを目的としている。記述情報と財務情報の一致度に関する独自指標を生成し，それをもとにした計量分析モデルを通じて，企業のガバナンス特性が「企業情報開示の整合性・透明性」に一定の影響を与えていたとする仮説を検証する。日本企業の戦前期の情報開示行動を精緻に分析することにより，非規制下における情報開示行動に対する影響要因を識別する。
