Outline of Research at the Start

試料を配置して加圧するだけで磁化測定できる極めて実用的な高圧下顕微分光計を実現させる。超高圧下先端光測定技術のもう一本の柱として、全光比熱測定も開発する。磁性の制御手段として高圧力を第一選択肢とするような研究の新しい潮流を創るのがゴールである。予備実験から10 GPaでの実現は確実であるが、より高い圧力下において高精度で定量的な測定を実現できれば成功であると判断できる。研究期間後半で実際の磁性体・超伝導体を測定して手法を実証する。最近報告された磁性元素化合物の圧力誘起超伝導体候補に対して適用しバルク超伝導相を探索／同定することと、圧力誘起キタエフ量子スピン液体の探索を行う。
