Outline of Research at the Start

We will develop a fast birefringence measurement and compensation scheme and a birefringent optical cavity to validate optical simulations. Finally, we will combine the 2D birefringence compensation technique with the birefringent optical cavity to demonstrate full mitigation of birefringence.
