Outline of Research at the Start	従来、免疫記憶は獲得免疫系にのみ存在するとされていたが、自然免疫系の応答変化をもたらす自然免疫記憶の存在が近年明らかにされつつある。自然免疫記憶の本体は、初回刺激時のヒストン修飾を中心としたクロマチン構造の再構成であり、再感染に対抗するために備わったシステムと考えられるが、非感染性炎症性疾患や病的血管新生の進展にも影響を与える。一方で、自然免疫記憶と老化との関係には不明な点が多い。そこで、本研究は、若年期に得た自然免疫記憶は老化や加齢性疾患の発症に影響を与えるかを検討することを目的とする。
