Outline of Research at the Start	潰瘍性大腸炎UCおよび原発性硬化性胆管炎PSCはいずれも原因不明の疾患である。両者は合併することから共通の発症機序が推測されてきた。両疾患の問題点として原因不明のため、特異的診断法や根治療法がなく、我が国の難病に指定されている。特異的診断・治療法の開発のため、病態解明が切望されてきた。そのような中、申請者らはこれまでにUC/PSC患者血清中に感度90％、特異度90%以上の抗インテグリンαVβ6抗体を同定した。しかし、その病的意義はいまだ不明である。本研究では、抗インテグリンαVβ6抗体の病原性を検証し、更にUC/PSC患者間での同抗体の相違を明らかにする
