Outline of Research at the Start

障害された組織・臓器へ細胞を移植することで根治治療を目指す細胞置換治療の開発が進められており、生体内で細胞を育てる細胞リハビリテーションが求められている。本研究では①皮質脊髄路の再構築を目標に、移植神経細胞からの軸索伸長を促進させるトレッドミル運動の効果を「受動的頭部運動」という斬新な側面から解明すること、②移植間葉系幹細胞の軟骨分化促進に至適な膝関節内温度環境を解明することの2点に取り組む。
