Outline of Research at the Start

トニ・モリスンの文学が、アフリカ系アメリカ人芸術家との相互関係において、歴史的トラウマを中心とした共同体のトラウマ的出来事をどのように表象し、次世代に伝えていこうとしているか、また共同体のトラウマからの恢復をどのように描いているのかについて全体像を明らかにする。本研究は、戦争、自然災害、ジェノサイドなどの歴史的トラウマを経験し、それらを共同体のトラウマとして抱え続けている現代人に関連性の深い研究となる。
