Outline of Research at the Start	日本独自の規格である軽乗用車は、今世紀にはいってからは普通・小型乗用車を上回るペースで普及が進んでおり、上昇する女性就業率との対応関係もうかがえる。本研究は、軽乗用車保有率と女性就業率に関する地域的差異や地域性を可視化するという地理学的方法を取り入れて、またアンケート調査結果やそれの補足調査結果もを組み合わせることによって、女性の日常生活の空間的制約の実態把握と空間的制約からの解放に対しての軽乗用車利用の有効性を解明することが期待できる。
