Outline of Research at the Start	昨今の安全保障情勢の深刻化を背景に、今、後日本においてもインテリジェンス組織の体制・権限等が強化される可能性がある。しかし、世論の中にはこれに対する懸念もある。かかる課題に対し、欧米諸国等ではインテリジェンス組織に対する民主的統制の在り方に関する包括的な学術研究が実施され、実務にも還元されている。しかし、日本では関連の学術研究の蓄積は乏しい。本研究は「インテリジェンス組織に対する適切な民主的統制を実現するための、日本政府のインテリジェンス統括組織の機能の今後の在り方」の解明を目的とする。本研究を通じ、「日本の民主主義社会における、安全保障と権利自由の両立」の実現への貢献が期待される。
