Outline of Research at the Start

化学エネルギーを運動エネルギーに変換し自発的に動く樟脳船の回転運動の実験で、静止と回転をくりかえす間欠運動や角速度が周期的にゆらぐ振動回転といった複雑な挙動を申請者は発見した。この多様なふるまいを示す樟脳回転子を用いて、微小なゆらぎが生み出す集団運動などの実験を行い、現象を特徴づける物理量を示す。実験結果を再現する現象論的モデルを構築し、ダイナミクスを議論する。
