Outline of Research at the Start	従来の民家史研究では、濃尾地方と三河地方の民家は、柱間寸法が内法制と真々制で相違するとみなされてきたが、詳細な分析がなされてこなかった。そこで畳割りに関係する室構成との関係に着目した詳細な実測調査による復原的な分析と、文献史料の記載との比較により、両地方の民家における平面の基本となる柱間寸法がどのように設定されているかという計画手法とその時代的な変化を明らかにし、近代にまで通底する計画手法の実態について把握を行う。本研究で得られる知見は、伝統構法を基盤とした民家の平面計画の指向の解明に繋がるもので、現存民家の歴史的な評価、保存活用に必要となる平面的な特徴を把握する上でも意味を持つ。
